PreBLD generates Class C order-of-magnitude (ROM) construction-feasibility estimates. These are intended for early-stage feasibility, go/no-go decisions, scenario comparison, and rough budgeting only. Industry convention places the accuracy range of a Class C estimate at ±15% to ±20%; actual variance against constructed cost can fall outside that range depending on scope clarity, market conditions, design completeness, site conditions, and the quality of the inputs provided.

PreBLD is not a substitute for a hard-bid estimate, a guaranteed maximum price, a quantity survey, a contractor proposal, or any deliverable produced from coordinated construction documents.

Estimates produced by PreBLD are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement.

Outputs depend on user-provided inputs (drawings, project description, location, scope decisions) and on third-party cost-reference data which is subject to change. The tool uses AI models which may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or anomalous results, particularly for unusual scope, atypical project types, or projects outside its calibration set.

You are responsible for reviewing every estimate before relying on it or sharing it with third parties (clients, lenders, design partners, AHJs, etc.). PreBLD-produced estimates should be marked as preliminary / Class C / for feasibility purposes only whenever they leave your firm.

Do not use PreBLD-produced estimates as the sole basis for a fixed-price commitment, a contract value, a financing decision, an insurance valuation, or any other binding determination. Always confirm material cost decisions with a licensed quantity surveyor, qualified estimator, or competitive bid before committing.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither PreBLD, its operators, nor any firm using PreBLD to produce an estimate shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of, or inability to use, an estimate produced by PreBLD — including lost profits, cost overruns, schedule impact, or any decision made in reliance on a PreBLD output.

Total aggregate liability arising out of any estimate produced by PreBLD shall not exceed the fees (if any) paid to PreBLD for the subscription period during which the estimate was generated.

PreBLD incorporates third-party cost-reference data and AI model outputs (Anthropic Claude, among others). PreBLD does not warrant the accuracy or availability of third-party data or AI providers and is not liable for any errors, omissions, outages, or changes in those underlying services that affect estimate outputs.
